09:00 am: Tech school
So I graduated basic training after 5 months. Yay!

I phase up to II in two days. Yay!

Man. 5 months of basic training is more than enough to jade someone beyond recognition.

I wonder how all the people I left behind and who left me behind are doing?

We've already surpassed our yearly average rainfall of approximately 8 inches this year. It's not even the end of January yet. Way cool.

04:30 pm: Beauty is slowly rotting away.
When human error is punished too severely, and when too many examples of this are made, then humans become less than human. They become machines. They lose their ability to express themselves. Why would anyone want to destroy the most beautiful gift someone can give? Business entrepreneurs know the answer. When free thinking is punished, people become efficient. They may be sheep, but those sheep can make a mean Whopper. I was reminded of my days as a Whopperjackhut kid by my old nametag. I thought of Joe’s methods of running the place, and I realized that no matter how efficient his employees may have been (they weren’t really, but that's not the point), he still killed their most beautiful contribution to society from the moment they entered the door to the moment they left. What if Joe was the government? What if free thinking was punished in every day life? If you’ll take a quick glance around you, you’ll know that the ultimate result has been gaining ground. Bleeping out swear words in movies, edited versions of CDs and the banning of some literature is only the beginning. Soon creativity will fade away and movies, music and books will all die. That’s not the world I want to live in. Human expression is beautiful, and those which seek to destroy everyone’s most precious gift need to realize what they’re doing before time runs out.

08:36 pm: First day on the job!
Man, the first day is always great. It basically consists of sitting around and not knowing what to do. Luckily, all of the people are nice, and unlike at Burger King, all of the people that I worked with didn't quit today. Yay! This is going to be a pretty cool job I think.

02:22 pm: HOYL CARP RIAN!!!
This has been the 18th consecutive hour of rain. That's a lot of water that fell out of the sky. I hope it doesn't start to rain in Flagstaff because that means all of the snow up there will melt, and there will definately be flooding down in this area (The Verde Valley and Sedona).

10:43 pm: Instrumenting
I got my guitar from my dad's house, and I played it for a while today. Man I love playing, so it's not such a terrible thing that I'm so horrible at it. I'll get better eventually.

I also have a job, woo!!!!!!!!!!

09:55 am: New Year's Day is coming
Ahh, New Year's Day. It's just exactly what it says it is: The new year. What's so exciting about a new year? Not a whole lot. However, it is supposed to be time that you spend with your friends and family. The real joy in a new year comes from being with those you love and those who love you. I just hope that this year's turnout isn't a prediction of the year to come.

Have fun with your friends and family folks.

Hey, if you're bored, then give me a call because I am too.

Jesus God I have a goal! Job interview at 3:30pm tomorrow. Thank you Pizza Hut!

On the more truthful side: This took way too long, and I am an idiot.

12:51 am: Movies
I think I've finally figured out why I like movies. It involves two things: What the movie teaches me and the fictional story in the movie. I can like a movie if only one of the requirements is filled, but a movie is not truly spectacular unless it teaches me something new or impressive, and its story is cool and fits well with what it teaches me.
